Patchwork 02

Patchwork is over. I enjoyed every bit of it, the preparation, the singing, dancing, acting and most importantly, being part of it. It has been a great experience. Working with the seniors has colourful, and working with the rest of Gracehaven has been rather great too. I don't know how the audience really felt throughout the whole event, but I can say, being part of the concert, part of the choir, part of the performers has been a miracle beyond linguistic expression.

I enjoyed the songs we sang, particular Christus Factus Est and Usuli Boat Song; they are great pieces. And who will ever forget the jubilation felt after the whole affair ended? The J1 basses were also much closer; it could be because we did a most funny Maori Haka. It was quite traumatising in the beginning, but I'm sure all of us enjoyed ourselves to the maximum. I couldn't get enough of performing, of singing, dancing, acting.

When it ended, mixed feelings swirled around in the auditorium. It was a relief that the concert was over, but at the same time I felt that we couldn't get enough of the whole thing. Contradictory statements they are, but who wouldn't agree with me?

It's has really, truly been great.
