Dawn of A New Year

2002. Here we are, heralding the birth of yet another year, awaiting new surprises and shocks that might occur. 2001 lived and died gloriously, with many significant events happening within its short lifetime. And so here we are again, living another year, living the best of what we have at hand: life.

Let's just forget all the bad things in the world for a moment and treat this as a new beginning, cos' if you dwell on the negative stuff then you can never see the bright side of many things you thought was bad.

2002 - New year, new school, new friends, new... It's just so amazing that everything we have... we take them for granted. So let us make 2002 a great year and live it to the best of our ability.

Happy New Year.

Beautiful Music

Seemingly an unbroken piece it is,
With deep beauty within,
That’s first look you see,
And things begin to change.

There’s nothing to it,
That’s what you think.
But if you paid more attention,
You’d see that things are not the same.

But you’ve yet to realise,
The true meaning withheld,
The beauty of this piece,
Is nothing more than a mere lie.

What bless the men may the men bless you?
What praise the Gods that the Gods praise you?
And what churns and turns that you may see and yet not discern?
And what is there to see but is not there when seen?
Absolutely nothing at all.

A vain and flawless piece it may be,
But nonetheless imperfect and tainted,
A beautiful music piece, yet
There’s more to it than you bet.

’Cos if you’d looked around,
Things are not what they seem.
Hypocrites and liars abound,
Plenty by thousand but few by count.
So isn’t this world a hypocrisy and a lie itself?

Music is food for the soul,
Yet the soul is not pure,
And what else is not pure and sure?
The soul is not another piece of porcelain,
Not something to throw after the world’s been slain.

So you see my beloved friend,
That things are just not meant to be
Food for the soul may it be,
But we don’t see Buddhas and saints around.

So if music is flawless and a beautiful piece,
And food for the soul it is,
Then what is the result of it all?
Polluted minds and villains a plenty?

Good music is found in nature,
And composed by men too,
And not too good men at that.
Man makes great food for the soul,
When you and me can see one behind the steel
But you and me,
We can see, the future’s not ours to control.

Feeling Sad

Sometimes, I think people feel sad, cos' they don't have a reason to be happy. Pretty obvious, but think about it! How many people would actually stop by to ponder over things so insignificant? At least to bystanders... When you feel locked up in your tiny room, void of space and freedom to achieve your goals and ambitions, would you feel happy?

Sometimes, I wonder why people would rather feel sad for themselves rather than to feel sad for others.

Green Children

Well Dalg said the Banjos story was a hoax so here's something new:

Encounters With Green Children
by Davy Russell, Editor
POSTED: 1 November 99

There are two different yet similar reports of strange green-skinned children found abandoned near villages in Europe. The first account dates back to the 12th century near Suffolk, England.

Local farmers found a boy and a girl weeping in a field. They brought the children to the home of Sir Richard de Calne in the village of Woolpit.

The children spoke no English and refused to eat food. They both wore oddly-coloured clothing of unkown materials. Eventually they began to eat beans exclusivly after going without food for several days, but only after they were shown how to open the stalks.

Both children were soon baptised. The boy grew weak shortly after and eventually died. The girl survived, learned to speak English, and eat other food. Her skin turned to a normal colour.

When asked about her origins, the girl described a place with no sun where all the inhabitants were of green colour. She claimed that she and the boy were separated from their people as they wandered in a large cavern and, upon exiting, were "struck sensless by the excessive light of the sun and the unusual temperature of the air." A separate recorded account states that the girl said she came from a place called St. Martin's Land where the people were all Christian.

Despite the bizarre accounts of the children's origins, some suggest that the children were lost and had wandered from the nearby village of Fordham St. Martin. Malnourishment gave their skin a greenish colour.

The second account of green children comes from Banjos, Spain in August of 1887. A boy and a girl of greenish colour were found abandoned near a cave. They did not speak Spanish and wore unfamiliar clothing. Their eyes were described as Oriental in appearance.

As with the first account from England, both children refused to eat at first. The boy grew weak and died, but the girl survived, learned Spanish, and explained that she and her companion came from a sunless land. The account differes from the first as the girl was reported to have claimed they had been caught up in a whirlwind and found themselves in the cave. The girl died in 1892.

Neither of these reports describe any other strange activity in the area such as UFOs. The children's true origins were never discovered. While some suggest the green children were aliens from another world or dimension, the rational explanation would be that the children were lost and undernourished. In any case, these events still remain a mystery. What is odd is that both accounts, although happening hundreds of years appart, are strikingly similar. Perhaps they are a retelling of the same story.

Girls Are Evil

You Wonder

Sometimes you can't help but
Wonder who
Made those sparkling
Lights out
In the heavens high above us.

And sometimes you can't help but
Wonder why the sphere of
Fire burns so fiercely
And never seems to
Diminish at any moment.

And sometimes you begin to
Wonder about
Everything,
Fanatically,
Wondering with fervor.

And sometimes other people
Just wonder whether
You are any normal
At all.

Delusions

You awaken to find,
That your world is grey,
Full of devastation and disease,
Rampant with crime.

You stare out of the window,
Clueless about anything,
And wonder why it came to be,
Anything but a peaceful earth.

You blink your eyes and
Pray that it is a nightmare,
And close your eyes and
Go to sleep once more.

But when you awaken,
You find that
Things are
Just the same.

Feelings

We all can feel,
As emotional creatures,
We experience,
Anger, sadness, happiness, hatred, love.

No one can ever deny,
What feelings can do to your
Mind,
Your heart.

And yet,
I'm afraid,
Afraid to feel,
Afraid to feel angry and sad,
To feel disgusted and depressed.

But people also live,
For love and happiness,
But do such things really exist?
I'm am still searching,
Eternally searching for them.

Face on Cydonia, Mars

Ode to Darkness

I am a dark soul, with a grey vision that seeks the truth, yet is helplessly lost attempting to find it. And though the search is futile, I will continue to live, to live this darkness in my life.

Wind

Geography teaches us wind is formed by the displacement of air from a area of lower to higher pressure, but I beg to differ. In actual fact, wind is caused by the escape of gas from within the earth - the hollow earth. The earth as we know it, is SUPPOSED to consist of a crust, a mantle and a core. However, it has been known by members of the Secret Practice of the Faith of the Gracious Ones that the earth is indeed hollow! Wind occurs when air escapes through cracks in the surface, otherwise called faults. That is why winds can occur suddenly. A whirlwind, is then a wind formed from a crack in the ocean! However, because of the tremendous pressure acting on the air escaping, the air counteracts with an equal force. In physics we learn action=reaction.

Of course, the energy escaping from beneath the earth's surface comes from a mega hot air generator that was built by the Secret Practice of the Faith of the Gracious Ones. This serves to keep the earth and its inhabitants constantly warm. In fact, the sun is not sufficient to heat up our world. Of course, we know that the earth is not a perfect sphere, so in certain places too much heat escape and we get deserts. It should also be noticed that sandstorms occur in the deserts, due to the additional hot air generated at beneath that point.

Atlantis sunk because the mega hot air generator, due to the negligence of the Secret Practice of the Faith of the Gracious Ones at a certain point in antediluvian history, malfunctioned and generated too much air. This compressed air finally broke through the earth's surface and created massive turbulence in the waters, taking the Atlanteans by surprise. Thus, the impressive city of Atlantis disappeared.

Volcanoes are extreme cases of such cracks in the earth's surface, and they serve to control the pressure build-up under the earth's surface to prevent a recurrence of a such a tragedy. You see, volcanic material (pumice, lava, ash) is actually the by-products of the exothermic reactions going on in the mega hot air generator. In certain areas, the machine is not as efficient, and thus cool, or even cold air is produced, as noticeable in the temperate and polar regions.

So remember, this is the real idea behind natural phenomenen associated with the earth's structure, tell your friends~!

The Devil's Advocate

The movie shown on Channel 5 tonight, or rather yesterday (Sunday) night, at 10.00pm was masterfully done.

The story is about a lawyer who has never lost a single case, and hides the truth to deny his clients' guilt. In this particular trial, he discovers he has been cheated by his client and enters the washroom to clear his mind. To preserve his reputation, he hides the truth and wins the case. Soon after, at a pub someone offers him an incredible offer, with sponsorship of luxuries, to join a law firm in New York. He takes on a minor case, then accepts a major, murder case. He spends most of his time at work and ends up neglecting his wife, and at the same time, ends up discovering he has to deny the truth again in court in order to win the case.

His wife begins to hallucinate to the point of insanity. His superior, Milton becomes a focus in the movie, with his speaking an uncomprehendible language at times, and makes you wonder if he was murmuring a curse. Milton also lives in a "different" house, with only one room and an exotic design. Later on, he wins the case, and his wife is admitted into the psychiatric ward. She sees "monsters in the mirror", and commits suicide, then the lawyer's mother tells him that Milton is his father.

He challenges Milton and discovers he is Satan and realises that he has hopelessly fallen into his trap, luring him with fame as bait. Milton wants to have a family, presumely to take over the world as an Anti-Christ faction? However, there is a twist at the end, and the lawyer kills himself.

Suddenly, he finds himself back at the washroom of the first trial, and this time, he steps down as his client's defender. He gets a hell load of attention, but he gets out of the way. The press reporter (i guess) wants to call him in the morning the next day, the lawyer contemplates and agrees. Again there is a twist when viewers watch in surprise as the reporter, Larry (i guess) transforms into Milton, and says "Vanity. Definitely my favourite sin."

It makes you wonder whether the Devil is attempting to lure this lawyer into his second trap after failing in his first attempt.

Yuankai's blogs

Yuankai's blogs never fail to interest me. They're written with emotion and pride. And I couldn't agree more with him. I read everyone's blogs and I find that Yuankai's are the most meaningful. Things that we never thought about, things we all can relate to. Like liking someone but lacking the courage to tell that person. I can feel every bit of his heart poured into his work, his blog. I know he is really speaking from his heart. He writes issues that comes to mind and bothers to give his opinions. I like that a lot.

Well, keep up the good work!

And oh, the gender test also said I was a woman.

Those bastards...

Days

Ya' know, yesterday was Thursday. Today is Friday, and tomorrow's gonna be Saturday. Doesn't it seem amazing that we live our lives in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and years? It's incredible that 24 hours go by like the blink of an eye. It's even more amazing when you look back and realise that you've lived for like 16 years?

Time is something that is still intangible, and though quantum physicists may be struggling to unlock the secrets of time, mortals like us have no control over our fate and we have to succumb to the irreversible effects of time. Waste none of it, for it never returns.

Soon it will be 2002... a few more years and it will be 3000.

Gone

She's gone. She is.

Went back.

Don't think I'll get to see her again.

And she left before I even found out about it.

She really is gone.
